John was extremely organised with all the paperwork leading up to, during and after the wedding. He lodged our documents promptly and we received notice from the QBDM that our marriage was registered, only four days following our wedding.
John has a lovely speaking voice and was very calm and professional throughout the entire process, which is ideal for a wedding. Our ceremony went perfectly to plan and our guests commented on how well the ceremony was run by John.

This won't surprise John one bit as I feel like he came to know us so well and he knows that between the 'calm' (Adam) and the 'chaos' (me), we'd likely forget to leave one of the most important reviews from our wedding day.
John captured our life together so well with his words, or lack thereof with my often very quiet husband!
John was available whenever we needed him in the lead up to the day and made sure we were able to have our rehearsal the afternoon before so that the many kids in our wedding party felt comfortable.
John took photos of this part of our wedding weekend, which people often forget, but it all added to our amazing wedding weekend. Music was very important to us and John had all of the equipment to make sure that our guests were able to hear and feel the music we chose to complement our ceremony!
John also worked in with our photographer to make sure we have the greatest ceremony photos. Having our wedding at a family property was exactly what we dreamed but not being from the region, we weren't sure where to start when searching for a celebrant; but we got lucky when we found John, who truly made our wedding day extra special! We found John through the glowing recommendations from many different people. John made sure all the paperwork side of things was as hassle-free as possible. We had a rehearsal the day before the wedding where he encouraged us to rehearse as many times as we needed to make sure we were all comfortable in what we were doing. John was able to advise us of things that we would never have thought of, which is an amazing asset to have when you have never had to plan a wedding before!
John worked well with our photographer, our singer and the guests to ensure the ceremony was perfect – he even pulled together a perfectly timed ‘petal throw’ to help our photographer get the shot! Everyone we have spoken to have said how beautiful & personal our ceremony was. John was an absolute pleasure to work with. His experience & knowledge of weddings was a massive bonus. He is easy to contact and responds quickly. Several guests came up to us after the ceremony and said that it was “So us!” And that it was perfect for us as a couple.
A lot of guests told us that the ceremony was beautiful and went really well. A few said that they had a tear come to their eye, and they never cry!
