The dawning of Australia Day 2023 was a little different!

Eri and I participated in an elopement of two very special people - Rod and Mary.
I'm one of "those celebrants" that avoids a "one size fits all" ceremony! I won't rest until it sits right that we've found something that is unique to you as a couple.

I have learnt to recognise over the past 23 years of marrying couples, that you don't settle on any final script unless "your celebrant gut" is at rest!

Not wanting to inconvenience anyone, especially their 95-year old witness Nick, who may have not heard his 4 am alarm, we still caught first light and a wonderful dawn on Main Beach, Gold Coast this 2023 Australia Day morning!
I just can't imagine their decision to marry happening any other way than with all the elements of nature in alignment as Rod and Mary committed their hearts to each other for the rest of their lives.
